Nobel Laureate Amartya Sen defines development as “the freedom to choose the life that you might reason to value”.

At its heart, Amaverkykers is a company owned by black youths creating the lives that they wish to pursue and implies assisting others to obtain a similar freedom.

Our Vision

To be an exemplary black enterprise that promotes pride and hope amongst previously disadvantaged communities by supporting the poorest of the poor in sustainable economic empowerment.
Our Mission

To be a bridge between the rich and poor that uses enterprise development, skills development, procurement, and charitable work to increase the capacity of vulnerable communities to better their own lives.

Amaverkykers Pty Ltd is a real deal: a 100% black owned company whose job is to promote micro-enterprise among the poorest of the poor.

No middle man. Contributions to Amaverkykers guarantees immediate BBBEE recognition since Amaverkykers is a Level 1 Exempt Micro Enterprise.

Who we are

Legal: As a qualified micro enterprise (turnover under R10m) Amaverkykers is a direct beneficiary of Enterprise Development contributions, no intermediary, no commission. You get full recognition towards your BBBEE scorecard for any contribution made. Legacy: Besides qualifying as an ED beneficiary, we go further by using our funds to empower other entrepreneurs in previously advantaged communities. We employ a relational approach that use social networks, sports teams, and track records to identify and assist the most deserving youths out there.

Amaverkykers believes in ethical business built on social responsibility. The main focus is on dignity, honesty, and trust. Besides the relational approach, administrative transparency and accountability is of core importance. Hettie Dreyer was appointed as independent bookkeeper and Snijder & Associates is the registered accounting firm. An Advisory Board consisting of prominent businessmen has been established to provide mentoring and accountability.
