Entrepreneurship takes many shapes and forms across the sites; there have been many successes from youth setting up and running their own Spaza shops, gyms, computer centres, saloons, piggery farms, tent hiring businesses, hardware stores, bakery’s and many more.
My dreams in shreds.
Bidvest Protea Coin used to pay external providers to shred and dispose of old uniforms. Having an entrepreneurial partner like AmaVerkykers allowed for a creative solution. After consultation with AmaVerkykers, we chose to incorporate the shredding into an innovative enterprise. This initiative gave birth to "Matlakala A botse" an enterprise that uses the shredded uniform to make pillows, couch stuffing and punching bags.
